The Oklahoma School of Ministry (OSOM) offers an excellent opportunity for training ministers within the local church! OSOM provides a range of courses tailored for ministry students, experienced ministers, and Christian workers. Students will grow through homestudy, classroom instruction, and hands-on involvement in ministry. OSOM ensures students receive quality instruction and access to valuable resources. Courses are led by seasoned ministry facilitators who help students grasp the material and provide insights from their ministry and leadership experiences.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
For those seeking credentials:
OSOM offers the necessary courses for Assemblies of God credentials. In one year, students can complete a level of ministry courses. After three years, they will meet the requirements for Ordination credentials!
For volunteer church leaders:
Volunteers play a crucial role in a church's ministry. Through OSOM, students will be challenged to develop their faith and leadership skills. Students will expand their knowledge and gain valuable insights into various aspects of ministry. As active participants in their local churches, students can support each other through classroom discussions, personal interactions, and building relationships.
For the Minister:
The ministry, like other professions, requires ongoing education. We must be students of the Word, as our time in Bible study significantly impacts every sermon and lesson we deliver. We encourage every credentialed minister to continue their education. Each Global University course has an independent study text and student packet that are fresh and energizing, providing an excellent opportunity for every minister in Oklahoma to strengthen their ministry calling.

Each course costs $115, and new students pay a one-time fee of $50.

Students who have not previously enrolled in OSOM must complete a Student Application. The New Student Application Fee ($50) is due at the time of enrollment. All course fees will be paid with monthly course registrations.

OSOM provides the academic requirements necessary to apply for credentials with the Assemblies of God but does not guarantee credentials. Students who have completed all Certification-level courses are eligible to apply for credentials.
