If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much more is an image reflecting the essence of the One True God?
In the early church, an icon represented a profound truth that words alone could not capture. Although some mistakenly began to worship these images, icons were never meant to be objects of worship. They were created to point back to the reality of the living God who reigns and rules and has placed His image-bearers on earth to represent Him and establish His Kingdom.

Missionary and Director of Valor
Born twelve time zones away from her current home in Oklahoma, Cynthia shares an understanding and reliance on the Lord forged through unique experiences. Her incredible story weaves through a childhood growing up in India, losing her mother at a young age, life at boarding school, accompanying her father (a diplomat to the United Nations) on assignment to America, adjusting to the ‘Cowboy’ culture of Oklahoma, and graduate work in Biochemistry.
